Jacqueline Beghin - 1st Grade Teacher

I am delighted to be a part of the St. Lawrence Martyr community as the first grade teacher. It is a blessing to be at a Catholic school where I will am able to share my faith and love of God with my students. The biggest joy for me is to being able to teach in the primary grades, seeing the excited faces of my students as they develop, grasp new concepts, and expand their learning. I discovered my passion for teaching at an early age, having had some amazing and inspiring teachers throughout the years. I graduated from Chapman University earning both a Bachelor of Science degree and teaching credential. I taught second grade at a public school for eight years before having my two daughters.

When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy reading and spending time with my family. Reading is a passion of mine and one I enthusiastically share with my students. I look forward each school year to the many educational adventures we experience in first grade.
