Hi, my name is Linda Armijo and I am the First Grade Teacher’s Aide and Summer School Director here at St. Lawrence Martyr School.

I was born and raised in a small town in South Dakota and moved to the mountains of Colorado when I was 15 years old.  There I attended The University of Northern Colorado where I studied Elementary Education. After marrying the guy next door, we moved to California where I began a career in the banking business. When a bank merger came about it gave me the opportunity to be home and with my son more.

I was excited to find a job as a teacher’s aide at a Jewish School where I could utilize my education. This was such a learning experience, as I knew very little about the Jewish faith.

In 2001, I was thrilled to accept a position at SLM where I am able to share my Catholic faith and freely include God in all conversations and aspects of our student’s lives.

In my free time, I enjoy Scottish Dance, Country Line Dancing, and spending time with my family and friends.
