Diane Kaiser - Principal
Mrs. Kaiser has been working in the field of education for over twenty years after having a career in the corporate business world. Mrs. Kaiser earned her degree in Elementary Education and holds a Multiple Subject Credential; she has taught junior high students in the areas of religion, literature, and mathematics. During her teaching tenure at St. Lawrence Martyr, Mrs. Kaiser was appointed several leadership roles, such as WASC/WCEA chairperson, math subject chairperson, and Religion Coordinator for grades TK - 8. In 2012, she was promoted to the position of Director of Faith Formation on the parish side. There she honed her leadership skills which complimented her work in elementary and middle school education and ultimately led her toward St. Lawrence Martyr School principalship.
Mrs. Kaiser considers it a great honor to serve the families in the South Bay community and that her work in Catholic education is “missionary work” -- another opportunity to share the Good News with students, their families, and the faculty and staff. Mrs. Kaiser states that St. Lawrence Martyr School partners with parents who desire their children to develop good work and study habits, the discipline of never giving up, the attitude of joy in all things no matter how challenging, and the impetus to generously serve family, friends and community. She feels that there is no greater job, nor responsibility, than to lead others to Christ, especially in forming the young to be compassionate, courageous and loving stewards of the faith.
In her leisure time, Mrs. Kaiser is an avid tennis player, enjoys playing board games with her family and friends, and loves watching her children in their athletic and musical endeavors. She is married to her husband, Kit, who is a home builder here in the South Bay. Mr. and Mrs. Kaiser have two children, Kobe (2012 SLM Alumnus) and Matthew, who currently attends St. Lawrence Martyr School. She is grateful for the precious gift of family and the gift of the SLM Community!
