WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL, 2019-2020

Dear SLM School Families,

What perfect weather we’ve had these past few months! I do hope that you found a bit of time to enjoy the summer sun with your family and friends. Now, here we are at the end of August preparing for another terrific school year. Although our start date is a few days away (August 27th), I would like to officially welcome you to the 2019-2020 school year.

Beginning the new school year is an exciting time for the administration, faculty and staff of St. Lawrence Martyr. It is full of positive energy geared toward creating a wonderful learning environment and anticipating the arrival of our students. Desks are neatly arranged, teacher planners filling up, books carefully set out, reading spaces and bulletin boards creatively decorated. Most of all, it is a joy to greet the students on their first day back and a wonder to witness their physical growth!

We would like for you to help us to get our wonderful students off to a great start!!

School Speak

St. Lawrence Martyr uses school speak as a means of communication. If you have not already done so, please stay up-to-date on all school news by logging in to School Speak daily. If you do not have credentials to log-in, please contact Mrs. Richardson at catherine.richardson@stlm.org for details.

Finally, we ask that you join us in prayer for the coming year. We pray that our hearts and minds will remain open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. We pray that parents, teachers, and students will come together in appreciation of one another and work with the assumption that all parties carry the best intentions at heart. We pray that Christ will remain the center of all that we say and do!

Many Blessings to each of you!

Mrs. Diane Kaiser
