Program
SCRIP is a fundraiser by which St. Lawrence Martyr School purchases gift certificates for grocery and retail stores, restaurants, etc. at a discount and sells them at face value. The income generated from this program is used to defray operating costs of the school.
When you purchase SCRIP, you are purchasing gift cards or gift certificates that you will use just like cash at participating retailers. You’ll earn money for the school simply by continuing to buy things you currently buy, but with SCRIP! Our school earns a profit when we purchase SCRIP at a discounted rate, and then sell it to you at face value. You receive the difference, usually 2-40%, when we apply the credit towards your fundraising commitment. Below shows and example of your SCRIP purchase vs. your SCRIP profit:
The Shanarbie family makes a $3000 SCRIP purchase. Their order is for:
20 $50 Arco (1.5%) = $15 profit 10 $20 Handel’s (20%) = $40 profit
15 $100 Vons (4%) = $60 profit 25 $12 Madrona Car Wash (40%) = $120 profit
The SCRIP profit that goes toward their fundraising goal is $235.
SCRIP can be purchased year round. We strive to make it convenient for you. Here are the many ways that you can purchase SCRIP:
· SCRIP can be purchased from the school SCRIP office on Tuesday and Thursday's from 8:15 AM - 1:00 PM
and 1:30 PM - 2:45 PM. Office phone number: 310-316-3049 ext 245.
· You can purchase SCRIP through the Tuesday Family Envelope, during the school year.
· Shop online at www.shopwithscrip.com - STLM's ID is AD2F4B519732
· SCRIP is also available Monday through Friday at the Rectory from 8:30 - 3:30; they are closed from 12:00 - 1:00 for lunch.
· Visit our Red SCRIP Booth, located in the Hall foyer, after Mass, when coffee and doughnuts are served.

SLM SCRIP Incentive Program
· Designed to benefit all of us who continue buying SCRIP even after our fundraising commitment is met, the SCRIP Incentive Program pays you back in tuition credit!
· Use SCRIP and other SCRIP programs regularly to earn credit towards fulfilling your fundraising commitment.
· Keep purchasing SCRIP once your family’s fundraising commitment has been met.
· For every $50 profit over your commitment, you will receive a $25 tuition credit for the following school year.
· There is no limit to the amount of tuition credit you may earn.

· Families can also sign up with eScrip, an electronic scrip program that allows you to accumulate scrip credit when you make purchases using a credit, debit card or store club card linked to your eScrip account. Your account activity is sent to the school quarterly. To enroll, go to www.escrip.com. St. Lawrence Martyr School's group ID number is: 136559404.
· Must be renewed every November.
Ralph’s Community Contribution Program
· Each time you swipe your Ralph’s Rewards Card or input your phone number at checkout to get Ralph’s special prices; you’ll also receive a percentage of your grocery purchase donated back to SLM School! We track your donations quarterly and you get the credit!
· Please visit www.ralphs.com and click on RALPH’S REWARDS to enroll your card. St. Lawrence’s NPO # is 84619.
· Must be renewed annually in September.
